"What Do We Do Now?"

"What do we do now?" I am sure that was the question upon the hearts and minds of Jesus' followers. They had watched Him being crucified, had the great joy of being with him on that first Easter day, and then they had to ask "What now?" What would they do? How would they live in a world like theirs?

Sometimes we are faced with similar questions. We celebrate Easter Sunday with great music and an acknowledgement that Jesus Christ is alive. But then Monday comes and we wonder, "What now?" Easter is over (or so it seems). Is Easter just for one Sunday out of the year? Does the resurrection of Jesus Christ mean anything for life today and tomorrow? And what about the future? How do you live as a believer in Jesus Christ in days like these?

The Book of Revelation contains not only prophecy about future events, but it also contains practical advice for us about how to live in a world like ours, a world filled with uncertainty, pressure and sometimes evil.
