In
a little more than two months we will be
having our Annual Business Meeting. It is not too soon to be in
prayer about many important areas for
The Chapel such as: the budget,
missions, youth, and church leaders.
Hopefully you are praying for your
church, especially during this time
when important decisions will be made
for the 1998 year and beyond. Unlike
attending a football or baseball
game, when you attend church there are no spectators.
We are all players. Jesus did not say go to all corners of the world and watch. He tells us
to be His faithful servants here
until His return. We all have ways of
serving our God. Let us each ask ourselves, is God calling me
to help in Children's Ministries or a Home Group, to be
a deacon, a trustee, or on the mission board?
Please
consider where, not if, Christ will use you
at The Chapel. The greatest gift you
can give your Lord is your service to
Him.
