Thoughts
from the Heart
I
would like to share with you some thoughts
that have been on my heart lately.
These areas are prayer support The
Chapel in North Canton and support of
Family First Sunday services.
Prayer
support for The Chapel is vital.
Prayer for the pastoral staff, children's
ministries director and teachers, Trustees, Deacons
and many others doing the work of The Chapel, can
take many forms. Some of these are thanksgiving, for strength
and health, protection, purity and direction.
The
first Sunday evening of each month we meet together for
Family First Sunday. The emphasis of the services are family
togetherness and unity. This allows the remaining Sundays each
month for the family to be together. A lot of effort
is put into preparing the services. As a congregation we
need to show our support of these services by attending. I
would like to see a doubling or even tripling of attendance in these services. Doing so would greatly
encourage the pastoral staff.
We
have a great group of people performing the work of the
Lord here at The Chapel and we need to give them all the
support and encouragement we can. The Lord has greatly
blessed The Chapel and I believe with firm assurance
that He will continue to do so, but we need to thank
Him for it and continue to pray for His wisdom and direction.
