A Small Group is a voluntary, intentional, authentic community
of three to twelve people who regularly meet for spiritual
transformation by implementing the Five Purposes of Small Group
Ministry.

Small Groups provide an intimate group setting which allow
people to Gather together to Grow spiritually while also Growing
with one another, to encourage group members to Give to others,
and to prepare all to Go and infect people with the knowledge of
God.
A Variety of studies are offered within the realm of Small Group
Ministry, focusing on Discipleship, Fellowship, Ministry,
Evangelism, and Worship. These Five Purposes of spiritual
development are emphasized in the ministries of each Main
Pathway Small Group.

Warm up in a small group this winter and enjoy the
personal environment and intimate fellowship that only a small group
can provide.
1st
Group
Starts Thursday, April 5, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Rueschman’s home in
Canton. Do you want to make a difference in lives for Christ? Then
this study is for you! First Group is a study for anyone who is
interested in leading a small group. Although God has created us for
community, it can be difficult to know what it looks like, how it
feels, and how to begin building it. First Group, along with the book
Contagious Community, will inspire you and build a community where you
can mature in your walk with Christ and encourage others to develop in
their spiritual relationship as well. Be a part of a better future by
joining First Group and Small Group Ministries at The Chapel. To sign
up or for more information, visit the display in The Chapel lobby, or
call The Chapel office at (330) 494-3419.

“Crown Financial Study”
Learn how to manage your money using the Bible as your guide.
Starts Tuesday, January 30, 2007
Shawn & Trish Wittmer, Leaders
Many people are experiencing financial challenges. But did you know
that the Bible contains 2,350 verses dealing with money? Many
Christians have been taught what the Bible says about how to handle 10
percent of their income—the area of giving. Although this is crucial,
they need to understand God’s perspective of managing the rest of
their money as well. We’ll meet each Sunday at the Wittmer’s home in
North Canton. Call Shawn or Trish for more information or for
directions to their home (330) 497-7839.
Wednesday Evenings, 7 - 8:30
New 4-Week Small Group Study
“Your Life in Christ”
This 4-week Bible study, facilitated by Ed Cox, is for those new to
the Christian faith. We will meet on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 8:30
at the home of Ed and Linda Cox in North Canton. Sign up today at the
Life Development small group display in the lobby.

“But I’m Only Human -- or Am I?”
(The Biblical truth about who we really are in Jesus Christ.)
Starts Sunday, February 11, 2007
Jim & Diane Fedorka, Facilitators
Sometimes Christians cry out in frustration, “But I’m only human!” as
they try to live in obedience to God’s Word. The truth is, however,
that we are more than human in Jesus Christ. This study will explore
what the Bible says about our true identity. We’ll meet each Sunday at
the Fedorkas’ home in Clinton. Call Jim or Diane for more information
or for directions to their home (330) 896-0537.
